Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Aplo (“the App”), a Shopify product-page content design app, developed and operated by Ahsaniya(“we”, “us”, or “our”), an independent app developer based in MH, India.

By installing or using the App, you (“you”, “the merchant”) agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the App.

1. The service

Aplo is a Shopify application that lets you build and manage rich content modules for your product pages, with a live preview, customizable appearance settings, and a theme app extension that renders your content on your storefront.

2. Eligibility and account

  • You must have an active Shopify store to use the App.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account and for all activity that occurs under your store.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and to use the App in compliance with Shopify's terms and all applicable laws.

3. Plans, billing, and trial

  • The App offers a free tier with limited features and a Pro plan priced at $29 USD per month, including a 30-day free trial.
  • All billing is processed through the Shopify Billing API. Charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice.
  • The free trial lasts 30 days. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the Pro subscription begins and you will be charged the monthly fee.
  • Subscription fees are billed on a recurring monthly basis until cancelled.
  • You may cancel at any time by uninstalling the App or cancelling the subscription. Cancellation stops future charges; see the refund section below regarding fees already paid.

4. Refunds

Because billing is handled through Shopify, refund requests are subject to Shopify's billing policies. Monthly subscription fees are generally non-refundable once charged. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@ahsaniya.com and we will review your request in good faith.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Shopify's terms
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, its infrastructure, or other merchants' data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation, servers, or networks
  • Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the App or its underlying technology
  • Use the App to create content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for merchants who violate these Terms.

6. Your content

  • You retain ownership of the content you create using the App.
  • You are solely responsible for the content you publish to your storefront and for ensuring you have the rights to use any images, text, or other materials you upload.
  • You grant us the limited right to store and process your content solely to operate and provide the App.

7. Intellectual property

The App, including its software, design, and underlying technology, is owned by Ahsaniya and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the App itself.

8. Availability and support

  • We aim to keep the App available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
  • The App may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors beyond our control.
  • Support is provided via email at support@ahsaniya.com. We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will meet your requirements or that its operation will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ahsaniya shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

  • You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify store.
  • We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms or if required by law.
  • Upon uninstallation, your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy (including deletion following the Shopify shop/redact request).

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in MH, India.
